My goodness... Today is so nice.
I loved having my little brothers staying with me for the two weeks and I miss them more then anyone will ever know. I had a wonderful time hanging out with them and praying with and just spending time with them. We had our friend Jeff and his kids come over the last day they were here and they played in the sprinkler with them and had a great time drawing with sidewalk chalk. Stephen made a huge smily face on the sidewalk. He was very proud of it.
Then after Jeff and the kids left the boys and I cleaned up the house and then Grandma and Grandpa got here around 5pm. We ended up going out to eat at Jay's Diner and had a great time with them. We went home after and watched Ernest Saves Christmas and Grandma got to hold Eowyn through half of the movie. I ended up falling asleep and slept through that half that she was holding her. Then they went to their room at Elim and the boys and I stayed up pretty late just talking and watching little pieces of movies and writing down some of the quotes that they had learned over their time here. Alot of them were just quotes that we just found on the dvd and let them see our favorite quotes and then turned them off.
Ezra was having a really hard time because he kept thinking about the fact that they were leaving the next day and this was their last night here. I prayed with him and Stephen and we just enjoyed being together for the little bit of time we had left.
Well now they are gone and while I enjoyed having them here it is much quieter here and I am getting some well needed rest. I am trying to sleep when Eowyn does and hope that life gets somewhat back to normal. But what is that?
